Diva - the sun always shines on tv (remix)

This is a cover of the song written in 1985 by Pål Waaktaar-Savoy and performed by his band a-ha . The original video for the song was directed by Lauren Waaktaar-Savoy, Pål’s wife, and was banned by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). According to an a-ha fansite , the video was considered “too sexy”. Scenes from the original black & white and color video can be seen here, interspersed with a live lip-sync version off a poorly tracked videotape. It seems to feature partial nudity and bondage themed clothing:

My ever worrying mind
All my powers waste away
I fear the crazed and lonely looks
The mirror's sending me
These Days
Please don't ask me to defend
The shamefull lowlands
Of the way I'm drifting
Gloomily through time
I reached inside myself today
Thinking there's got to be some way
To keep my troubles distant
Touch me
How can it be
Believe me
The sun always shines on TV
Hold me
Close to your heart
Touch me
And give all your love to me
